Fabulous Los Altos Hills

The main concept of this project was remodeling the kitchen and living room in a transitional style. Restrained classical canons were taken to a minimalist, clean look! However, a mandatory condition was to preserve family and traditional aspects of the living space. We kept the wall and façade finishes neat with delicate moldings, yet introduced bold transparent chairs from a completely different stylistic dimension. We incorporated a traditional wine station but added modern lighting and a contemporary sofa! Contrasting elements can clearly define eras while emphasizing the simplicity of the transition.
